Scott and Amy from Active Kidz (ABC network) have combined some fantastic tips for SPB readers to help get you going.
Ten Active Tips from the Active Kidz!

1. Go and visit local parks and rainforests. Wherever you are in the world, make the most of what you have around.

2. Each weekend try and set up an adventure. You may ride your bike to a destination, or drive and do a bushwalk!

3. Go for a swim in the Ocean. The salt water is great for your body and it will feel invigorating.

4. Try a sport that you have never done before. Who knows you may just really like it.

5. Challenge yourself around the house! Been putting off that vacuuming or sweeping? It will be great for your body and the house will look good as well.

6. Be active as a family. You will all benefit and it is a great way to handle stress. So C'mon Mum or Dad, grab the kids and get your walking shoes on (and have a talk along the way).

7. Pets also need an active life. Walk the dog as a bonding activity, or if you don't have a dog, borrow your neighbour's.... (remember to ask them first)

8. Every time you sit down to watch TV have some fun. In the ad breaks do active exercises, like star jumps or push ups.

9. Exercise with a friend. It is so much more fun and you will always make each other work harder.

10. Be like the Active Kidz and get Activated everyday for 30 minutes. Your body will love it and so will your mind.
