FREE seminar for single parents
on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland
They say there’s no such thing as a free lunch! Well not any more, because The Single Parent Bible are putting on a fabulous free, one day seminar for Sunshine Coast single parents, including lunch and goody bags for the first 100 people through the door.
A first on the Sunshine Coast, we are looking forward to a fun day filled with laughs and information. CADET Training and Employment have graciously come on board as the major sponsor, with many other businesses supporting the event also.
The Single Parenting Successfully seminar will include everything the single parent needs to know and much more. Topics covered include, parenting, wellbeing, work/life balance, budgeting, careers, work reforms and training and there will also be an open forum for questions. We want this to be a terrific experience for all who attend. It's high time that there were specific events catering to single parents and we are thrilled to be pioneering this innovative seminar series.
Solo parents should see the seminar as an opportunity to meet people and broaden their networks.
Inspirational speakers will take the floor, including Tracey Wickham (who for the first time will be telling her very personal account of her journey as a single parent) and Annette Sym. Come along and meet Tina Shaw from The Single Parent Bible and enjoy the wide array of speakers and information we have lined up.

Tina Shaw – Publisher and Single Parent Advocate
Tina Shaw is the Publisher and Editor of the online glossy, The Single Parent Bible and has taken up the batten for single parents in Australia.
Tina will discuss the battles of single parenting and in a second session, the fundamentals of budgeting and how to make ends meet.

Annette Sym – Healthy Living Guru
Annette Sym is the dynamo behind the hugely successful Symply Too Good To Be True cook books and was inspired to share her fat free recipes after losing a phenomenal amount of weight.
Annette (although not a single parent herself) was brought up in a single parent household and understands many of the pressures facing single parents today.
She will speak about wellbeing in our children and the importance of looking after yourself first.

Bronwyn Marquardt – Author
Bronwyn Marquardt is a renowned Australian journalist and also the author of Happily Ever Parted, a New Holland published book about separation and divorce.
Bronwyn will be speaking about parenting through a divorce and some of the pitfalls to avoid.

A Centrelink representative will attend the day and answer the top ten questions that single parents want to know most (as found in a survey conducted by The Single Parent Bible).

Tracey Wickham – Former Olympic Swimmer
Tracey Wickham has had a stellar career in the pool and is highly sought after as a motivational speaker.
What many people may not know is that Tracey is also a single parent and as such has decided for the first time ever to tell her own personal story to our seminar attendees. Tracey will also talk about work life balance, how to manage it all AND be a good mum. |
